Little Shop composer Alan Menken with Tari Kelly
Little Shop of Horrors opened at the Orpheum Theatre on July 27, 1982 with Lee Wilkof playing the part of Seymour and Ellen Greene as Audrey, the girl of his dreams. The offbeat little musical won over the majority of the critics and enjoyed a run of 2,209 performances.
The Broadway production opened October 2, 2003 at the Virginia Theatre, and closed August 22, 2004.
